Hey!

We had a great Stake Conference yesterday. We had a little meeting for investigators last night called "Why I Believe". It was great, Kevin Hagan(our investigator who is getting baptized this Saturday) bore his testimony and the Spirit was so strong there. The stake president talked about the importance of 1 while reading out of Luke 15, which is the parables of the lost sheep, lost coin, and the prodigal son. I encourage you to read that chapter and figure out what was lost, how it was lost, how it was found, and the ratio of how many were lost and found compared to the total number of items in the parable.

So I went on an exchange this week and one of the spanish missionaries came to my area with me. We had a lesson with a less-active member who is a 22 year old girl who has 2 kids and is living with a guy and she isn't married, that seems to be the norm around here. So we brought with us a member who has recently been brought back to activity. It was a great lesson. Bro. Silvers(the member we brought with us) said something pretty funny. We were talking about the Restoration and about Joseph Smith and bro. Silvers said that Jesus baptized Joseph Smith. We were like woah, back up, John the Baptist gave the authority to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery and they baptized each other. True and funny story. That just goes to show you that you don't need to know every detail to know that the church is true, that is a great lesson that I learned and I will never forget it.

So I'm sure everybody is wondering if I or my companion are getting transferred on Wednesday. Well neither of us are being transferred!! I finally get to be with a companion more than 1 transfer, and it is his last transfer before his finishes his mission. I am just so happy that I get to be the last missionary to serve with Elder Goodwin. He is a great example to me and a great tool in the Lord's hands.

Love,
Elder Robertson
