Hey Everybody!
So right at this moment, there is a guy sitting in between three of us missionaries trying to disprove our church. Does he really think he will be able to do that with three youngish men who do this for a living? I asked him if he had ever read the Book of Mormon himself and he said no. Then I asked him how he really expected to discuss this with us intelligently when he hasn't even read what he is trying to disprove. But anyways.
So my week was good. I went on exchanges with the zone leaders on Friday. 2 out of 3 of our appointments fell through but we saw a miracle. As we were going through our back-up plans we went to a former investigators house to try and set up an appointment. Turns out she moved to Philadelphia. But, we got to help to young couple who had already brought in most of their belongings in their house. We took a lot of things up stairs for them, moved things around to organize them, we even got to rip out a carpet with them. As we were about to leave we got into a brief conversation about our church and our beliefs. We then set up a time to come back and teach them about the Book of Mormon (the appointment is tomorrow). It was just so cool that even though most of our appointments fell through and it looked like it was going to be sort of a drudgery day, we could find a miracle in the midst of it. I love my mission.
So we had a fun dinner appointment last night. For the spiritual thought we role-played with the individual family members different situations in which they could share the gospel and bear their testimonies. Having been out here we have heard just about every argument and we kinda just brought everything we have heard to the role-play. But it was fun though.
So those were the highlights of this week that I can remember anyways. This Saturday we are going to help the ward clean up a park, so that should be fun.
