Hey Family!

So this week was pretty warm, I was sweating most of the time. I hate this time of year for missionary work only because of all the sweatiness. If it wasn't for the sweatiness, nastiness, and stinkiness, I'd be fine with it.

So my training in district meeting went well this week. The zone leaders sat in on it. I had planned to train on our purpose as missionaries and the doctrine of Christ. There were a few things that we ended up talking about that I didn't even plan on talking about. It turned out to be a very Spirit directed meeting. The zone leaders really admired that I was able to go with the flow and not get upset for getting off track of what I was planning on. I guess I have what you call an open canon of revelation instead of a closed canon, just like this church. One of the cool things that was brought up that was unplanned was that when we are unified with our companion in teaching the doctrine of Christ, we are also unified with the Godhead. Pretty powerful stuff, right?

We spent a lot of this week going by people who said that they would like us back but haven't been there when we returned. So we dropped a lot of them. We also did a lot of tracting this past week and now we have a few appointments set up with new people. We are pretty excited about that. We have been spending too much time hanging onto people who won't progress, so we dropped them. Now the Lord is blessing us with new people to teach. It is awesome!!

We probably won't be going up to Bloomington for P-Day the rest of the month because we are going to be tight on miles. We still have to go up there 2 more times and that will be all we will have miles for. So we will stay down here for the next 2 P-Days. I have a talk coming up next Sunday in Sacrament meeting, not quite sure what exactly I'm going to say, but whatever. I just know it is on missionary work. So it shouldn't be too hard. We also have interviews with the mission president next wednesday. So that's what I got going on.

You know what I realized this week? I really don't have much longer on my mission. It blew my mind. Next transfer I will have to get up at zone conference and give my departing testimony. Then I will only have one transfer after that. Crazy! I can't believe I am actually that close to being done!
